Just because you're rich doesn't mean you have to spend money all willy nilly.

Lakers legend and future first-ballot Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant made an estimated $680 million during his 20-year playing career and had a reported net worth of $350 million in 2016. The man can afford nearly anything, but up until recently he didn't have something most avid basketball fans do —NBA League Pass.

That's right. Bryant, the man many (erroneously and blasphemously) think is the greatest basketball player ever to play the game couldn't even watch NBA games outside his regional market if they weren't nationally televised.

The five-time champion recently revealed how he discovered his cable package was lacking some key programming on ESPN's "Sportscenter."

That's pretty funny, but when you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Bryant hasn't been home a lot during the season the past couple decades. When he was, whatever TNT or ESPN offered was probably good enough to satisfy his hoops fix. Hey, he's still getting used to this whole retirement thing.
