Knicks players are saying some of their teammates don't know where to go on the floor. The team did scrap the triangle, right?
Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr. both noted a lack of cohesion Tuesday after New York lost 110-89 to the Celtics in Boston. The Knicks committed 14 turnovers and shot 42 percent from the field (1 for 12 on 3-point attempts) as they fell to 0-3. They allowed the Celts to shoot 49 percent and go 14 for 29 from 3.

Tim Hardaway Jr, on #Knicks offense: “We’re all out there just running like we don’t know what’s going on.”

Season is off to a great start.
Neither player pointed out specific breakdowns, which would have required them to name names.
"Some guys had rough shooting nights and then we got tentative,’’ Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek told reporters, per the New York Post. “I thought it affected us when we weren’t making any shots.’’
The thought was that players would be able to grasp Hornacek's offense after failing to master the triangle offense that former team president Phil Jackson desperately wanted to run.
Half the roster is still around from last season, but the ones who play sizable minutes (Kristaps Porzingis, Lee and Kyle O'Quinn) are trying to mesh with six new players in the early-season rotation: Hardaway, Enes Kanter, Ramon Sessions, Jarrett Jack, Doug McDermott and Michael Beasley.
New York has two days to get things right (or at least better) before it takes on Brooklyn at home.
