The Knicks are making moves to prepare for an Eastern Conference playoff push.
New York has reportedly acquired veteran shooters Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks from the Pistons on trade deadline day.
The Knicks have added significant depth to their roster, also bringing in O.G. Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa from the Raptors back in December with their sights set on a deep postseason run.

Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks trade details
Knicks receive:
- Bojan Bogdanovic
- Alec Burks
Pistons receive:
- Quentin Grimes
- Malachi Flynn
- Evan Fournier
- Ryan Arcidiacono
- Two second-round picks
The Knicks have landed Bogdanovic and Burks for a trade package centered around young sharpshooter Grimes. The Pistons will also add Flynn, Fournier, Arcidiacono and two second-round picks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Sitting one game back from second place in the Eastern Conference on the day of the trade deadline, New York is filling out its depth chart with contributors.
Bogdanovic has been one of the most consistent 3-point shooters in the league over the last seven seasons, knocking down 40.5 percent of his attempts in that span. The 6-7 forward has averaged over 20 points per game in two seasons with the Pistons and brings 47 games of playoff experience to the Knicks.
Burks is a familiar face in New York, averaging 12.1 points per game with the Knicks from 2020-2022. He also provides some much-needed 3-point shooting, converting 40.8 percent from range over the last four seasons.
New York didn't have to give up much to land two impact players, but the Pistons should be excited about Grimes. The 23-year-old fell out of head coach Tom Thibodeau's rotation but showed flashes of a promising 3-and-D player over three seasons with the Knicks.
Flynn, Fournier and Arcidiacono are throw-ins to make the money work, while the two second-round picks will be helpful for Detroit down the line.
Updated Knicks depth chart
The Knicks will likely move Anunoby to small forward and start Bogdanovic in place of Randle, who is out with a shoulder injury. Starting center Mitchell Robinson may also be out for the season with an ankle injury, but Isaiah Hartenstein has filled in just fine in the meantime.
