The Knicks are paying a premium to land one of the most coveted stars on the 2024 trade block.

New York landed Nets standout Mikal Bridges in a massive deal that included Bojan Bogdanovic and a trove of first-round picks.

Bridges, 27, has emerged as a star since landing in Brooklyn as part of the Kevin Durant deal in 2022-23. In 109 games with the Nets, Bridges has averaged 21.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists while shooting 44.7 percent from the field, including 37.3 percent from 3-point range. He averaged 12.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists with the Suns before he was sent over to Brooklyn.
