The New York Knicks are reeling on the basketball court, and it appears they maintain a similar environment off it, according to a report from Chris Broussard of ESPNNewYork.com.
After the Knicks' loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Carmelo Anthony used expletives to threaten to beat up Tim Hardaway Jr. in the locker room after an on-court altercation spilled off the floor, Broussard reports.

The confrontation never turned physical, but Anthony was miffed after Hardaway screamed, "Get the rebound!'' in Anthony's direction, according to Broussard. In response, Anthony used extreme language to ask Hardaway who he thought he was talking to.
"Nobody's taken a swing at anybody, but there's a lot of arguing and cursing each other out after games,'' one source told Broussard.
Broussard could not reach Anthony for comment, but he did learn from a source that several Knicks players are at odds with Anthony and do not believe he plays team basketball. Over the weekend, Knicks players told Anthony he shoots too much and plays too little defense, according to Broussard.
But this tension is most present between Anthony and Hardaway. The second-year player took issue with the preferential treatment Anthony received under last season's coach Mike Woodson, Broussard reports.
One of the few things the Knicks players do agree about is their overall disdain for the triangle offense, according to Broussard. Knicks president Phil Jackson said there has been some resistance to his efforts in "changing the culture."
"There's some resistance to discipline and order and culture change and things like that,'' Jackson said.
