Moment of Greatness: Warriors' Klay Thompson sets playoff record with 11 3-pointers image

Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson became the first player in NBA history to reach double-digit 3-pointers in a playoff game Saturday during Game 6 of the Western Conference finals against the Thunder.

Thompson had been on fire all night, so when he pulled up from deep, no one really objected. He broke the record with his 10th 3-pointer with 5 minutes left in the game and added an 11th to get to 39 points for the game. Thompson finished with 41 on 11-for-18 shooting from beyond the arc in the 108-101 win as Golden State forced Game 7.

Jason Terry, Ray Allen (twice), Vince Carter and Rex Chapman held the record at nine 3-pointers made before Thompson broke it Saturday.
