K.J. McDaniels' gamble appears to have paid off.

McDaniels re-signed with the Rockets on a three-year, $10 million deal, ESPN reported. This comes after McDaniels signed a one-year deal with the 76ers before his rookie season.

Philadelphia ended up trading McDaniels to Houston for Isaiah Canaan and a 2015 second-round pick, and now, McDaniels has parlayed his successful rookie campaign into $10 million over the next three years.

The Clemson product averaged 7.9 points and 3.2 rebounds last season.
