The Miami Heat are one win away from the NBA Finals.
A date with the Denver Nuggets seems imminent but the Heat first have to finish off the Boston Celtics.
Miami has had to deal with a number of injuries this postseason with Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo both sidelined. And while Game 3 was a blowout, the Heat finished the game without the services of Kevin Love, who left the contest with an apparent leg injury.
Love has been a nice addition to the Heat, giving them a vet they can trust throughout their playoff run, but his status for a potential closeout Game 4 is unclear.
Will Kevin Love suit up on Tuesday? Here's the latest on the big man's status.
Is Kevin Love playing vs. Celtics tonight?
Kevin Love is officially listed as probable with a muscle strain in his lower left leg.
Head coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters after Game 3 that Love said he was "fine" and that he could've played in the second half but the team decided against it with the game out of hand.
"He said he probably could've gone in in the second half, but we just wanted to re-evaluate it," Spoelstra said postgame. "We were up 15, and I was like, 'Alright, let's just make sure we know what's going on."
Spoelstra added that at the time there was uncertainty about what the injury was with the ankle being one of the possibilities. Either way, it appears Love will be available to start for Miami in Game 4.
