Wizards point guard John Wall bid farewell to Kevin Garnett late Friday after the Big Ticket announced his NBA retirement after 21 seasons.
“It’s a heck of a time for three legends to go out in the same year,” Wall said in reference to Garnett, Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan in a video posted on Twitter. “(Garnett) was one of the best trash talkers to ever play the game. He always talked his junk. But if you went out there and gave it your all just like he did, he showed you respect.”

Wall spoke about the impact Garnett had on the game as he lounged in his bed. Maybe he could have sat on his couch to make things less weird, but it was admirable nonetheless.
