The 2013-14 NBA MVP and four-time league scoring champion opened up the scoring for Team USA against China in a tuneup for the Rio Olympics on Tuesday night, hitting a 3-pointer from the wing.

It was the type of effortless stroke fans in Oakland, Calif., expect to see from Durant come the fall when he links up with Splash Brothers Steph Curry, winner of the past two MVP awards, and USA teammate Klay Thompson to form the most lethal 1-2-3 combination in the league.

Check it out.

In the words of Sidney Dean, actor Wesley Snipes' character in the classic basketball film "White Men Can't Jump": 'It's pretty. It's soooo pretty.'"

Durant went on to score Team USA's first 10 points as the red, white and blue built a 16-point lead in the first quarter, much to the pleasure of those in attendance.

UPDATE: Durant finished with 13 points. Team USA won by 50.
