The Knicks and Nets are set to face off on Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
New York is riding high after wins over Boston and Cleveland. Julius Randle was terrific for the Knicks in those games, scoring 37 points against the Celtics and 36 points against the Cavs.
Kevin Durant has missed the Nets' last eight games after suffering a right MCL sprain on Jan. 8 against the Heat. Brooklyn has struggled in his absence, going 2-6 over that span, including losses to the cellar-dwelling Spurs and Pistons.
Prior to his injury, Durant was averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. Despite being inactive as of late, Durant was named a starter for the 2023 All-Star Game in Salt Lake City.
