After the team parted ways with Kyrie Irving on Sunday, the show goes on in Brooklyn, where the Nets host the Clippers on Monday.
Brooklyn, which is now the center of attention in the NBA, begins a stretch of four nationally televised games with Monday's marquee showdown. And while all eyes will be on the Nets, it is unlikely that trade acquisitions Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith will be ready to suit up.
The Nets are coming off of an impressive comeback win in which second-year guard Cam Thomas erupted for 44 points off the bench. The 21-year-old's offense was needed as Brooklyn looked for answers in the absence of Irving, who was inactive following his trade request and Kevin Durant, who remains sidelined with injury.
Led by the duo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers continue their climb up the Western Conference standings. Will Durant be back in action when LA comes to town?
Here's the latest on Durant's status for Monday night's showdown.

While there is optimisim that Durant can return to the lineup before the All-Star break, he has already been ruled as out on the NBA's official injury report.
