Let no one say the NBA's new All-Star draft isn't fun.
The All-Star game, which has a draft for the first time in 2018 in lieu of the traditional East-vs.-West format, now pits the Warriors' Kevin Durant against teammate and team captain Stephen Curry, one of two selectors for this year's teams. Of course, LeBron James, the other All-Star selector, took Durant for his own team.

The 2017 NBA Finals MVP seemed to have some fun with the thought of switching things up, and made a self-deprecating joke about it on his Instagram story:

This isn't the first time jokes have been made about Durant joining the Warriors — former Colts and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning took a good-natured dig at him at the 2017 ESPYs, for example — but it's good to see him having fun with the whole situation.
Then there's the "#1 pick" homage — an obvious reference to the fact Durant was selected No. 2 overall in the 2007 draft. And the "I'm coming for you Stephen" brings the whole thing home nicely, especially when remembering how Curry hit the deck in last year's game.
Can it be Feb. 18 yet?
