Two struggling teams go head-to-head when the Suns host the Nets on Thursday.
Both Phoenix and Brooklyn are feeling the effects of missing their best players — the Suns have slumped in the absence of Devin Booker while the Nets are in search of answers without Kevin Durant.
It's no coincidence that Brooklyn's current three-game losing streak began in its first game without Durant, while Phoenix is 3-12 since Booker first went down with a groin injury.
Despite recent struggles, the Nets maintain a 27-16 record and will look to use the remaining four games of their five-game road trip to keep the pace at the top half of the East standings. The Suns, on the other hand, have fallen to 21-24, but begin a five-game homestand on Thursday and will look to use the stretch to their advantage.
As the two teams look to get back on track, will either of their stars be in action? Here's what we know about the status of Durant and Booker for Thursday's game.

Are Kevin Durant and Devin Booker playing tonight?
While Durant remains sidelined with a sprained right MCL, Booker will not play due to a strained left groin.
On Jan. 9, the Nets shared that Durant would be re-evaluated in two weeks, meaning the earliest date for a potential return would be at the end of January.
The Suns have also indicated that Booker would be re-evaluated towards the end of January, holding him out for at least the next few games, including Thursday's meeting with Brooklyn.
