Stephen Curry injury, Kevin Durant ejection overshadow Warriors' rally vs. Pelicans image

The Warriors rallied to beat the Pelicans 125-115 in New Orleans on Monday, but the comeback became the least important development of the night thanks to two incidents late in the fourth quarter.

First, Kevin Durant was ejected along with DeMarcus Cousins for jawing and jostling.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr addressed his team's recent trend of extra curricular activity with reporters after the game.

Shortly after Durant and Cousins left the floor, Stephen Curry badly turned his right ankle while on defense and left the game.

The (San Jose) Mercury News reported after the game that Curry had suffered an ankle sprain and would receive X-rays. Curry was seen walking on crutches. (UPDATE: X-rays on Curry's right ankle were negative, per The Athletic.)

Suddenly, the defending NBA champs will have to talk about more than erasing a 20-point halftime deficit on the second night of a back-to-back on the road.

Durant's ejection came about 24 hours after Shaun Livingston was ejected for butting heads with referee Courtney Kirkland in Miami. The NBA on Monday suspended Livingston for a game and Kirkland for a week.
