The Clippers enter the NBA Playoffs with uncertainty surrounding Kawhi Leonard's health once again.

The star forward has been sidelined with "right knee inflammation" since April 1, and his status is still in jeopardy for LA's first-round series against the Mavericks.

Any absence for Leonard could spell danger for the Clippers. The two-time Finals MVP is the key to their success, averaging 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game this season.

Will Leonard be able to shake off his injury and suit up for Game 1? The Sporting News has you covered with the latest updates below.

Is Kawhi Leonard playing tonight?

UPDATE: The Clippers have officially ruled Leonard OUT for Game 1.

The Clippers have listed Leonard as questionable for Game 1.

On Saturday, LA head coach Ty Lue told the media that Leonard "has been shooting and will shoot more with the team today," but he still has not been cleared for contact.

"He shot yesterday, he was on the floor. [Saturday], he will be able to shoot more with a little bit more movement. And he is going to go through some of the practice as well," Lue added.

Leonard's teammate, Paul George, may have unintentionally admitted that Leonard would not be ready for the first game of the series.

"I do think at some point he will be with us," George told the media the day before Game 1. That is not exactly encouraging to hear.

Leonard missed 14 games this season. The Clippers went 7-7 in those games.
