Clippers vs. Suns took a turn in Game 3 when star forward Kawhi Leonard was abruptly ruled out because of a knee sprain.

Leonard reportedly suffered the sprain in Game 1 and played through it in Game 2, but he was unable to continue playing on it in Game 3 once the series moved to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The superstar played out of his mind in the first two games of the series, putting up 38 points in Game 1 and 31 points in Game 2 on a combined 24-of-44 shooting.

It's another major blow for a Clippers team that is already playing without one star, as Paul George recovers from a knee sprain he suffered in late March against the Thunder.

Per CBS Sports' Rob Greene, the knee injury is independent of the ACL issue that has hindered Leonard in the past.
