Towns scored 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out five assists as the Timberwolves won 121-116.
The Wolves are going to miss the playoffs for the 13th consecutive year (the longest streak in the NBA), but the future looks brighter than ever with Towns and Andrew Wiggins leading the way.
