The Bulls are one of the deepest teams in the Eastern Conference. They made another addition to their bench Wednesday.

Chicago agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with veteran shooting guard Jordan Crawford, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The 6-4 Crawford joins a second unit that includes guards Aaron Brooks, Kirk Hinrich and E'twaun Moore and forwards Tony Snell, Doug McDermott, Nikola Mirotic, Bobby Portis and Taj Gibson.

Crawford last played in the NBA in the 2013-14 season. He played in 39 games (35 starts) for the Celtics before being traded to the Warriors in January 2014. He averaged 11 points on 47.1 percent shooting (31.6 percent from 3-point range) in 23 minutes per game between Boston and Golden State.

He signed with a team in China last season but left after just five games. He landed in the NBA Developmental League, where he played eight games. He joined the Mavericks' summer league team this year and averaged 10 points on 36 percent shooting.

Crawford, who has also played for the Hawks and Wizards since entering the league in 2010 out of Xavier, has averaged 12.2 points, 3.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds in his career.

The Bulls play their first exhibition on Oct. 6 against the Pistons.
