It has been smooth sailing so far for the 76ers.
In the first two games of their first-round series, the Sixers have outscored the Nets by a combined 32 points on their way to a 2-0 lead. MVP finalist Joel Embiid hasn't been a dominant scorer against a Brooklyn team throwing multiple defenders at him, but he is still making an impact on both ends of the court.
"A lot of people think I just love scoring the basketball, which I don't think it's true. I enjoy winning and doing whatever it takes to win," Embiid said after Philadelphia's Game 2 win. "Some nights, I might shoot a lot and score a lot. Some nights, I'm gonna get double-teamed and have to make the passes.
"But I believe in playing the right way, which is getting your teammates involved."
