In a loss to the Timberwolves, Ingles went down with an apparent knee injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. An MRI revealed a torn ACL in Ingles' left knee, which will require season-ending surgery.

What is Joe Ingles' injury?
Ingles has a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee with no other structural damage, per multiple reports.
According to Sarah Todd of Deseret News, Ingles will need to get a full range of motion before undergoing surgery to repair his knee.
How long will Joe Ingles be out?
Once Ingles undergoes surgery, he will be out for the remainder of the 2021-22 season as well as the postseason. A recovery time will likely be provided after Ingles' surgery, which could happen sometime in mid-February.
This marks the first serious injury of Ingles' NBA career, as the veteran had missed just nine games in the seven years leading into the 2021-22 season.
Entering Sunday, Ingles was averaging 7.1 points, 3.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game on 40.8 percent shooting from the field and 35.1 percent from the 3-point line through 44 games.
