Pistons guard Jodie Meeks suffered a fracture to his right foot Wednesday night, and on Friday the team announced he had surgery that will keep him out for 3-4 months.
Meeks underwent the procedure Thursday evening to repair a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal. He is expected to miss a few months, but will "be re-evaluated throughout the rehabilitation process."

Reggie Bullock will see an increase in playing time with Meeks' injury, coach Stan Van Gundy said at Friday's shootaround.
“Reggie will be our primary guy at the two,” he said, via NBA.com. “He’s ready to go. We’ve got 100 percent confidence in him.”
Prior to Meeks' surgery on Thursday, Van Gundy said his player "was in good spirits."
