The Mavericks’ task of coming back from a Game 1 trouncing to win their series against the Thunder got even more daunting Sunday, with news that J.J. Barea will miss — and Deron Williams is doubtful for — Monday's Game 2.
ESPN’s Tim McMahon reported both pieces of news Sunday on his Twitter feed.

Barea and Williams formed the Mavs’ starting backcourt for Game 1’s 108-70 loss to OKC.
Barea missed the entire second half of Saturday’s game, and Dallas coach Rick Carlisle was admittedly worried about his status going forward.
"I'm very, very concerned," Carlisle said. "I think something happened. I don't think it's just tight. I'm afraid something happened."
Barea's availability for the rest of the series is uncertain, McMahon said. Williams is dealing with a sports hernia.
With the injuries, guards Raymond Felton, Justin Anderson and Devin Harris figure to get more minutes in the Mavs’ rotation.
