The Utah Jazz have been said to be a sleeper candidate to trade for New Orleans Pelicans star forward Brandon Ingram, per Christian Clark. The Pelicans have also been eyeing up Jazz center Walker Kessler as what they want from that trade.

Ingram is a former All-Star and Most Improved Player, who averaged 21 points, five rebounds, and six assists last season. The Jazz are lacking at the forward position, and they have a superfluous amount of big men in Kessler, John Collins, Drew Eubanks, and their newly drafted Kyle Filipowski. It would make sense for the Jazz to get rid of a big man for more shooting and depth for other positions.

Kessler would also be a great pickup for the Pels now more than ever, as their former starting center Jonas Valančiūnas left the team for the Washington Wizards, leaving a big hole in the middle for them in the middle.

Finally, this would be a good trade to reunite Ingram and his former teammate from his time on the LA Lakers, Jordan Clarkson.
