James Harden is a man of the people.
He hoops. He hangs with Lil Baby. He grows impeccable facial hair.
And, he has an appreciation for late-night snacks. Harden got his fix earlier than expected after a controversial ejection in the 76ers' Game 3 win over the Nets in Brooklyn.

Thanks to Tyrese Maxey and company, Philadelphia walked out of Barclays Center with the all-important dub. The Sixers now hold a historically insurmountable 3-0 series lead.
Feeling in a celebratory mood on 4/20, Harden satiated his hunger in an eerily similar way as many folks across the country: by embracing a classic "munchies" meal.

Harden posted a picture of what awaited him after his trip home from the arena. From sunflower seeds to dark chocolate-covered almonds to Fruity Pebbles to Body Armor Sports Drink, Harden had himself quite the postgame comedown spread.

Harden isn't the only one coming down with a smorgasbord. All across the country, if not the world, folks are finishing off a long, hard 4/20 with the greasiest, sugariest, most delicious food 10 bucks could buy. It's almost tradition at this point. Get elevated, ruminate in the euphoria of a good toke session, then fill your tummy with empty calories. Rinse and repeat.

Suffice to say, Harden understood his assignment. The NBA famously nixed its Stern-era marijuana policy in 2020, giving players a chance to expand their horizons. Matt Barnes and Kevin Durant are the many players who have spoken about their weed use. No longer are players demonized for enjoying herb.
Yes, the times, they are a-changin'. Harden understands it as well as anyone. Now all that's left for him to do is crack open a vinyl edition of "The Chronic" and vibe out. A good night, indeed.
