James Harden is one of the NBA’s must-see players, but an incident in Utah on Monday had him worried about protecting his eyes.
Harden said he felt disrespected by the fan who pointed a laser at him as he attempted to shoot a free throw in a game against the Jazz. The fan was later banned from NBA games for a year by the league.

"Whoever that guy was, he wouldn't want to be lasered in the face, so that was disrespectful," Harden said, via ESPN.com. "It's not my call (on the fan being banned), I'm just trying not to get blind."

A referee noticed the fan using the laser, and the person was escorted out of the arena by security.
"It's a NBA game, you got fans trying to watch some good basketball games, really talented, blessed basketball players out there on the court and you're trying to laser them, that's just crazy," Harden said.
Harden finished with 30 points in the Rockets' 93-91 win, so no harm, no foul.
