The All-NBA selections always bring some level of controversy.
This past Wednesday the All-NBA teams were announced by the NBA and fans were able to see which media members voted for which particular players.
Jalen Rose was the latest media personality to feel the wrath of the social media world for his vote for Kyrie Irving for All-NBA third team.
Speaking on ESPN's pregame show, Rose said he now regrets that decision.

“I need to fall on the sword because I'm the lone person that voted Kyrie Irving third-team All-NBA,” Rose said. “I get mesmerized by his talent, but it was a mistake to put him on third-team.
"I'm glad it [the decision] didn't cost Trae Young his spot because he deserved it more."

NBA voting impacts player salaries - players can earn more based off whether they are selected to an All-NBA team.
The social media world wasn't the only heat that Rose faced.
Rose's co-host on ESPN Countdown, Stephen A. Smith, found out about Rose's choice for Kyrie on-air and as to be expected, he was incredulous, pointing out Irving was a part-time player this season.

Rose went on to explain his thought process in making the Irving selection.
“Let me tell you how I made that,” Rose said. “In my mind, this was a unique season, and based on that unique season, when Kyrie Irving decided to play, for whatever reason, he was as dominant as any player in the league, and he was one of the top 15 performers when he was in uniform.”

Irving was great in the games that he did play in — he averaged 27.4 points, 5.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds - but ultimately, playing in just 29 games is far too few to be selected for an All-NBA team.
