Ja Morant has been out since March 5, following his eight-game suspension due to a gun incident in a Denver club on March 4.
The Grizzlies have gone 5-3 in his absence, maintaining their position near the top of the Western Conference standings, with a record of 43-27, sitting in the No. 3 seed behind the Kings and Nuggets.
In his absence, Tyus Jones has filled in at point guard, averaging 16.4 points, 8.5 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game in that span.
