Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas may be heading back to the suspended list after he shoved a referee Friday night.
Thomas put his right fist and arm into the chest of Marat Kogut after being trapped along the sideline against the Trail Blazers 1:28 into the game. The move earned Thomas an immediate ejection that was upheld on video review.

Crew chief Mark Ayotte told pool reporter Fred Katz of The Athletic after the game that Thomas was ejected because he "made physical contact with a referee." Thomas left Capital One Arena in Washington without speaking to reporters, Katz reported.
The NBA suspended Thomas for two games on Dec. 22 after he walked into the stands in Philadelphia during a timeout to confront a heckling fan. Thomas was ejected from that game, too.
