In the time since, Irving has been available exclusively for away games but his team has struggled thanks in large part to injury decimating the roster.
Irving's availability helps, yes, but injuries to All-Stars Kevin Durant and James Harden have complicated things.

Is Kyrie Irving playing tonight?
With Tuesday's game taking place at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, Irving will be unavailable to play due to New York City regulations surrounding persons unvaccinated for COVID-19.
This will mark the seventh Nets home game that Irving will miss since being permitted to rejoin the team on a part-time basis in December.
Brooklyn is 2-4 in its last six home games without Irving.
