The Warriors will be put to the test with superstar guard Stephen Curry on the sidelines.

Curry suffered a left shoulder injury last week — an ailment that is expected to sideline him for "a few weeks." Curry has played MVP-caliber basketball for Golden State this season, averaging 30.0 points, 6.8 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Rising star Jordan Poole will be expected to replace the majority of Curry's scoring, averaging 26.8 points per game as a starter compared to 14.1 points as a reserve. Offseason addition Donte DiVincenzo also stepped up in a big way in the first game of Curry's absence, going for a season-high 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

The Warriors will face off against a scrappy Knicks squad that has won seven consecutive games — the longest streak in the NBA currently.

Over that seven-game win streak, Julius Randle has looked like an All-Star again, averaging 26.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists. RJ Barrett has upped his play, posting 22.3 points, while Brunson has averaged 20.3 points and 5.7 assists.

Can the Knicks stay hot against the Warriors? Or will Golden State try and send a message with a big road win at MSG without Curry?
