The Clippers and Trail Blazers are set to face off on TNT on Tuesday, but the game will be missing some juice.
Clippers stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George and Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard are all expected to miss this contest due to injury, meaning other players will have to step up in their absence.
For the Clippers, starting center Ivica Zubac is coming off of the best game of his career, going off for 31 points and 29 (!) rebounds in LA's win over the Pacers on Sunday.
For the Trail Blazers, Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant have picked up Lillard's scoring load, averaging 23.2 and 21.5 points per game, respectively.
Even without the star power, only one game separates these teams in the Western Conference standings and could serve as a preview for a playoff matchup down the line.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George injury updates
Leonard and George have both been sidelined with injuries as of late, leaving the Clippers without their two best players.
Leonard missed 13 games with knee soreness after the star forward didn't feel comfortable on his leg which caused him to miss the entire 2021-22 season due to an ACL injury. He returned briefly for three games but is once again sidelined, this time due to a sprained right ankle.
As for George, the star forward has missed the last four games due to a right hamstring strain, and it appears he is further from returning than Leonard.
According to ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly, George will not be traveling on the Clippers' upcoming road trip, while Leonard's status is still to be determined.

Kawhi Leonard’s status is yet to be determined for the trip.
Damian Lillard injury update
According to TNT's Chris Haynes, Lillard has suffered a right calf strain in a different area from his previous calf injury which caused him to miss five games earlier this season. The latest calf injury is expected to sideline him "for a brief period" as the Blazers will be "extremely cautious and (Lillard) will take the necessary time to recover."
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard underwent an MRI and it revealed a right calf strain in a different area from his previous injury that will sideline him for a brief period, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.
