The Hornets fear small forward Nicolas Batum will miss the remainder of the series against the Heat after leaving Wednesday night's Game 2 in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, according to Cleveland.com.
Thursday's X-rays on Batum's sprained left ankle came back negative, but head coach Steve Clifford said he was "very" concerned about the injury.

Cleveland.com reported Batum is unable to put weight on his left foot and is very doubtful to play in Saturday's Game 3.
Charlotte is already trailing 2-0 in the series, so losing Batum would all but shut the door on this postseason.
