Miles Bridges isn't upset he didn't make an All-Rookie team.

The Hornets forward tweeted Tuesday that he didn't play well enough to be selected, but seemed optimistic about his second season.

"I didn’t get snubbed," Bridges said. "I played like a— all year. I don’t deserve to be on any team. Next year will be different."

The 2018 lottery pick averaged 7.5 points and four rebounds in 80 games for a Charlotte team that just missed the playoffs. It finished in ninth — two games back from Detroit.

Bridges came off the bench initially and eventually worked his way into the starting lineup 25 times in 2018-19. But the 6-7 wing didn't quite match the gaudy numbers of players selected ahead of him in the draft, including Trae Young, Luka Doncic, and Jaren Jackson.

Young, Doncic, Jackson, Deandre Ayton and Marvin Bagley were the first five picks of the 2018 draft and all made the All-Rookie First Team.

The Clippers' Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who Charlotte initially selected with the No. 11 pick, was moved to Los Angeles for Bridges in a draft-day trade. Gilgeous-Alexander made the All-Rookie Second Team, as he became a vital piece in his team's playoff run.
