Heat vs. Celtics: Best player prop bets for Game 3

Bam Adebayo OVER 8.5 rebounds (+110) on FanDuel

This is a four-star value according to BetQL, and the model is projecting the Heat center to record 10 boards. He had nine rebounds in Game 2, and there are many calls from talking heads and pundits for him to be more assertive in Game 3. I'm assuming the Heat coaching staff and fanbase also wants to see that happen.

One way he can do that is on the glass. He averaged 10.1 rebounds per game in the regular season, and our projection has him getting back into double digits in that column in this particular matchup.

Marcus Smart OVER 6.5 assists (-110) on DraftKings

In Game 7 against the Bucks in the last round, Smart dished out 10 assists. After missing Game 1 against the Heat, he recorded 12 dimes in Game 2 and performed like an elite facilitator, consistently setting his teammates up for high-percentage looks.

Smart showed aggression driving into the lane and was consistently able to split Miami’s defense, who was unable to contain Boston’s elite perimeter shooting. The Celtics went 20-for-40 from three-point range, and while that won’t happen again, it’s hard to imagine that Boston’s game plan isn’t going to be exactly the same in front of its home crowd.

Al Horford Double-Double (+425) on BetMGM

Horford had just 10 points, three rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes in his Game 2 return, but he had three double-doubles against the Bucks in their second-round playoff series and is a huge part of his team’s potential success.

I wouldn’t expect him to record a 25-point, 15-rebound performance, but all he needs is 10 and 10 to pay off this +425 prop. I’ll sprinkle some on this for sure.
