Word to the wise: Don't heckle Udonis Haslem.

The Miami Heat big man got into a war of words Wednesday night with a Pistons fan, and it was the fan who got the boot from his seat.

BIRDSONG: Charles Barkley is the wrong person to talk about race

"You know how fans get some times? They get real disrespectful," Haslem said after Miami's 107-84 loss. "It wasn't nothing racial or sexiest. It was a lot of disrespect."

The fan was allowed to stay at the game, but presumably out of sight from Haslem.

"You pay your money, you can come in and enjoy the game, you can cheer for whatever team you want to," he said. "But that doesn't give you the right to be disrespectful. You know what I'm saying? I give people respect, and I feel like people should give me respect, whether you like my game, whether you like the Heat, no matter what the situation is. But I'm not going to tolerate disrespect."
