Will Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic return Sunday night and help the Heat avoid falling into a 3-0 hole against the Lakers?
The Heat starters missed Game 2 of the 2020 NBA Finals after leaving the series opener with injuries. Dragic suffered a torn plantar fascia in the first half of Game 1, and Adebayo is still dealing with the effects of a neck strain.

Adebayo, who made his first All-Star appearance this season, is integral to Miami's success on both ends of the floor. Dragic has been the Heat's second-leading scorer in these playoffs (19.9 points per game) behind only Jimmy Butler (21.1). If they are both out again, the Heat will need to put together a near-perfect performance in order to prevent the Lakers from essentially ending the series.
Here's the latest news on Adebayo and Dragic ahead of Game 3:

ORIGINAL: Adebayo and Dragic are both listed as doubtful on the most recent Game 3 injury report, which was released at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday. These are the same designations Adebayo and Dragic were given ahead of Game 2.
It appears Adebayo is closer to a return than Dragic, per Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press:
Am told nothing has changed. Bam Adebayo still has some hope of finding a way onto the floor tomorrow night. Goran Dragic is desperately seeking a path as well. The clear sense, from many sources over the last 24 hours, is that Bam is closer than Goran at this point.

Heat rookie Tyler Herro took Dragic's spot in the Game 2 starting lineup, scoring 17 points in 43 minutes. Meyers Leonard replaced Adebayo at center, though he only logged nine total minutes and didn't play in the fourth quarter. Miami coach Erik Spoelstra could go a similar route in Game 3, but it's possible he gives the nod to Kelly Olynyk over Leonard after the veteran forward scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds off the bench in Game 2.
Regardless of who starts Sunday night, Butler must lead the way once again. The five-time All-Star totaled 25 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds in his last outing.
