The Heat and Hawks are set to face off in the Play-In Tournament with the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference on the line.

Miami and Atlanta are familiar foes, going head-to-head in the first round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs, where the Heat eliminated the Hawks in five games.

Atlanta had to qualify for the postseason via the Play-In Tournament last year, too, defeating the Hornets and Cavaliers to claim the No. 8 seed.

This time around, both teams will be fighting for a chance to take on the No. 2 seed Celtics in the first round, with the loser set to take on the winner of the Raptors vs. Bulls Play-In Game for the No. 8 seed.
