The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls are both on their last legs, as they look to secure one more win in order to clinch the No. 8 seed and play the No. 1 Bucks in the first round.

The Heat fell to the Hawks on Tuesday despite being home favorites. The Bulls, meanwhile, overcame a first-half deficit to defeat the Raptors and give themselves a shot at the postseason.

Zach LaVine turned in an incredible performance against Toronto to give the Bulls the win, scoring 39. He was helped along by 23 points for DeMar DeRozan, and the Bulls were able to move into this do-or-die game despite hitting just seven threes on the night.

The Heat, meanwhile, came up short in their comeback bid against the Hawks. Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Kyle Lowry all turned in 20-plus point performances, but a lack of depth ultimately did them in.

Now, these teams need to play each other for a shot at the Bucks in Round 1. The Sporting News has you covered on how to watch this win-and-you're-in matchup.
