The Hawks have signed Austin Daye to a 10-day contract, according to a team release,
While the move is relatively minor, Daye could be used to shore up Atlanta's depth while reserve forward Mike Scott recovers from a broken toe. Scott's injury is expected to sideline him for 4-6 weeks.

Daye was waived by the Spurs in January after winning an NBA title with San Antonio last season.
In 26 appearances with the Spurs this season, Daye averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. He most recently played for the Erie BayHawks in the Developmental League, averaging 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in 10 appearances.
