The Hawks had to compete Monday night against the Thunder without star center Dwight Howard, but they banded together to win 110-108 on the road.
Paul Millsap played as the de facto center in Howard's absence, and he scored 30 points with 11 rebounds while battling against Steven Adams and Enes Kanter.

Dennis Schroder scored a team-high 31 points with eight assists and five rebounds in a thrilling matchup against Russell Westbrook. Schroder has been playing great in his first season as a starter, scoring points and creating open looks for his teammates.
Westbrook had another memorable night despite the loss. The triple-double machine scored 46 points with 11 rebounds and seven assists. His seven assists were more than the rest of the Thunder players combined.
For all of Westbrook's glory so far this season, he hasn't been able to come through in key moments. After missing Monday, he is now 0 for 5 this season on potential go-ahead shots in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime.

The Pacers' trio of Jeff Teague, Paul George and Myles Turner led Indiana to a 107-105 win over the Wizards. Teague poured in 23 points while dishing out 10 assists. George added a team-high 27 points and nine rebounds, while Turner scored 20 points with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Dud of the night
The Pistons: Stars Reggie Jackson (seven points) and Andre Drummond (nine points) struggled in a 113-82 loss to the Bulls. Chicago had seven players score in double figures, led by Jimmy Butler with 19 points. Rajon Rondo, who had been struggling lately, scored 10 points and dished out 14 assists.
Detroit has lost its last three games by at least 14 points.

LaVine scored 23 points with four rebounds to lead the Timberwolves to a 115-108 win over the Suns. Karl Anthony-Towns added 28 points and 15 rebounds.
