Grizzlies vs. Pelicans score, highlights: CJ McCollum outduels Ja Morant in exciting Tuesday NBA game image

Zion Williamson wasn't available for the Pelicans' Tuesday night matchup with Ja Morant and the Grizzlies because of a foot injury, but his teammates adjusted in his absence.

CJ McCollum led New Orleans with 30 points and nine assists in its entertaining 113-102 win over Memphis. Larry Nance Jr. contributed 19 points, seven rebounds and a few highlight-reel dunks, and Jose Alvarado added 12 points and six assists off the bench.

Morant filled up the box score with 36 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, but he didn't get much help from the rest of the Grizzlies' starters. Memphis was clearly missing Desmond Bane, who recently suffered a toe injury.

In his season debut, Jaren Jackson Jr. struggled to find his shot, hitting just three of his 14 field goal attempts. He did manage to make an impact on the defensive end, though, with five blocks.
