Greg Oden was arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly punching a woman he described as an ex-girlfriend, The Indianapolis Star reports.
The incident in question reportedly happened around 3:30 a.m., Lawrence Police told the Star. Oden, who was taken into custody around 5 a.m., could face battery charges.

When officers arrived, they found a women lying on a bed and holding her face. While she was not initially cooperative, a woman described as the victim's best friend told officers the victim was hit in the face, according to a police report obtained by the Star.
Once on the scene, officers "observed blood, swelling to the nose, lacerations to the forehead and nose area of the victim's face," according to the report.
Oden did cooperative with officers when he was arrested around 5 a.m., with the report stating that he was "calm" and "apologetic." Oden told police officers he and the victim dated for two years but ended the relationship about two months ago, according to the report.
"I was wrong, and I know what has to happen," Oden told police, according to the report.
