Heat guard Goran Dragic was left with a chipped front tooth Monday after taking an Al Horford elbow to mouth.
Dragic, 29, didn’t take long to get his smile back in order, especially considering the jokes thrown his way by teammates comparing him to Jim Carrey’s character in "Dumb and Dumber."

“No more Jim Carrey,” Dragic said Friday (via the Miami Herald). “They just put a crown over it. I was there for two hours. I still need to go back on Monday.”
Dragic may suddenly be more photogenic, but his teammates wish the unique look had stuck around a bit longer.
“I liked the Jim Carrey look,” Dwyane Wade said. “I don’t know if his wife liked it, but I liked it on him. It was funny. Every time he smiled, you got a laugh out of it.”
Dragic said he had no plans to wear a mouth guard to protect his new crown, but said he and the Heat trainers will try to figure out something to prevent another oral emergency.
