WNBA star Glory Johnson is no longer facing charges stemming from an altercation with her estranged wife, Brittney Griner, according to Johnson's attorney.

Brian Russo said a Maricopa, Ariz., judge granted a motion to have Johnson's charges from the April 22 altercation dismissed.

Johnson was charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct in the incident between the two, who were engaged at the time. Griner pled guilty to a disorderly conduct charge and was ordered to complete 26 weeks of domestic violence counseling. Both players were suspended seven games.

"There is no further need to discuss such events," the Tulsa Shock star told The Associated Press in an email confirming the charges were dropped.

Johnson and Griner, who plays for the Phoenix Mercury, were married May 8. On June 4, Johnson announced she was pregnant with the couple's first child. Griner announced she filed for annulment of the marriage the following day.
