One month after they tied the knot, Johnson announced she and Griner are expecting their first child.

“We’re planning on kids sooner than later,” Johnson told The New York Times in May. “I’m considering missing a season.”
The baby news comes less than two months after both women were arrested after a domestic assault incident at their Phoenix home. Both women were charged with assault (intent/reckless/injure) and disorderly conduct (fighting).
The WBNA suspened Griner and Johnson for seven games each without pay.
