On Tuesday, the Bucks close out a brief homestand when they host the Wizards for the second time in three nights.

The first time around, the absence of Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo was quite evident, as Washington cruised to a 23-point victory on Sunday night. Almost quietly, the Wizards are now winners of five in a row.

The Bucks, on the other hand, have lost five of their last six games to fall to 23-13 on the season and the East's third seed.

While Milwaukee is struggling, Antetokounmpo is dominating, posting averages of 37.2 points, 15.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists over his last five games, including back-to-back games with 40-plus points and 20-plus rebounds.

After missing the first meeting, will Antetokounmpo be back in action when the Bucks face the Wizards on Tuesday? Here is the latest on the two-time MVP's status.

Antetokounmpo was ruled out of Sunday night's game with knee soreness. He is listed as probable for Tuesday.

It's worth noting that Tuesday's game against Washington is the front end of a back-to-back. The Bucks travel to Toronto to face the Raptors on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

This season, Antetokounmpo has missed six of Milwaukee's first 36 games. Over 30 games, he is averaging 32.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists while seeing just under 34 minutes of action nightly.
