Heat swing man Gerald Green has been discharged from a South Florida hospital, the ABC affiliate in Miami reported, adding that the team didn't issue an official statement other than to wish Green well.
Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue confirmed to Omnisport that it responded to a call this week to the area where Green lives in the Marquis Residences Condominium, and the subject was taken to the hospital. But they couldn't confirm the identity of the person transported because of privacy laws. The 911 call for this incident says the subject was "bleeding" and was "passed out."

Green, 29, was listed by the team only as "inactive" for Friday's road loss to the Pacers, and Heat officials have offered little in terms of when Green might play again.
The Heat play at home Sunday night against the Raptors. It's unclear if Green will play, but Local 10 News, citing unidentified sources, said he was out of Jackson Memorial Hospital on Saturday night.
TMZ reported that witnesses said Green was "acting strange in the lobby of the condo" on Wednesday and was "screaming at the top of his lungs." Witnesses also said it took several people to restrain Green and get him on a stretcher. Nobody was arrested in this incident and no report was filed by police, though there was a police presence, according to The Miami Herald.
On Thursday, before the Heat's victory at Minnesota, coach Erik Spoelstra (via Yahoo.com) said "the only comment we’ll make other than what we made (Wednesday) is that we’re grateful that he’s safe and healthy right now. Our thoughts are with him and his family."
