Fred VanVleet had a rough night on Friday.

The Raptors guard was left with blood streaming down his face in the fourth quarter when he took an inadvertent elbow from Warriors guard Shaun Livingston.

He was clearly dazed on the play and was taken by trainers almost immediately to the locker room.

ESPN reported VanVleet received seven stitches but did not have a concussion. He is expected to return to the game.

He did not return to the court, but he was on the bench at the end of the game.

VanVleet has been absolutely key to the Raptors' Finals run and was especially so in the Eastern Conference finals.

In the final three games of that series he went 14 of 17 from 3-point range which helped the Raptors erase a 2-1 series deficit and win 4-2.
