The action continues in Group B of the men's basketball tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday, with France taking on Germany in a star-studded showdown.

Victor Wembanyama, Rudy Gobert and France enter their final game of group play with a perfect 2-0 record. France defeated Brazil in its Olympic opener before escaping with a 94-90 comeback win against Japan on Tuesday.

Wembanyama and Nicolas Batum each scored 19 points in the victory over Brazil. Wembanyama followed up that performance with 18 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks against Japan.

Germany — also 2-0 in Group B — has been reliant on its NBA talent. Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder totaled 20 points, six assists and four steals in Germany's 86-73 win over Brazil, while Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner chipped in 17 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists.
